Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to website design services provided by MJW Marketing Co ("I", "me") to you ("the Client").

1. What's Included

Core Package (£249):

Plus Package (£359):

2. Payment Terms

You won't be asked to pay until you're happy with your website. Once you approve the final design, payment is due in full before the website goes live.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or other agreed method.

3. Revisions & Amends

The Core package includes 1 round of amends. The Plus package includes 2 rounds. A "round" means a single batch of feedback that I action together.

Additional rounds of amends can be purchased for £50 each. Minor text changes after launch are £15 each.

If the scope of the project changes significantly, we'll discuss additional costs before proceeding.

4. Content & Materials

You agree to provide the content needed for your website (text, images, logos) in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may delay the project.

You confirm that any content you provide is owned by you or you have permission to use it.

5. Ownership

Once full payment is received, you own your website. This includes the design, code, and content. You're free to move it to another provider if you wish.

I may use the completed website in my portfolio and marketing materials unless you ask me not to.

6. Hosting & Ongoing Costs

The first year of hosting is included. After that, hosting is £100 per year, payable annually in advance.

Domain renewal is charged at cost (typically £10–£20 per year depending on the domain).

If you choose not to continue hosting with me, I'll help you transfer your website to another provider.

7. Timelines

Most websites are completed within 2 weeks of receiving all content. This depends on your responsiveness and my current workload.

I'll keep you updated on progress throughout.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time before approving the final design, at no cost. No risk, no pressure.

9. Limitation of Liability

I take care to deliver quality work, but I can't guarantee specific business outcomes (such as increased enquiries or revenue).

My total liability to you for any claim arising from this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

I'm not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, revenue, or reputation.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website applies to new projects.
